Unit 7, The East Yard, Camden Lock, Camden , London NW1 8AF
It is a brilliant studio space with lots of room, natural light and easy access from Chalk Farm Road.
Amazingly, I started my business trading at Camden Lock from a stall in this very yard in November 1986, 35 years ago, when there were railings onto Chalk Farm Road and the Old Black shed (now Dingwalls) was full of vintage clothing, jewellery, old furniture, pictures, old pottery, vinyl albums and lots of interesting junk to browse through!
From that small beginning, I now sell my work worldwide to customers who appreciate the 'one-off' and hand made quality of my work.
Well, with the weather turning colder, now is the time to indulge yourself in a beautiful, warm, lightweight coat that will catch the eye, with its unique combination of surface patterns that I have designed over many years...I can't quite believe that I have been designing and making for 35 years!
Below too is a picture of a well loved, timeless design that is still in my range...
Just to add, I am now working in a slower, sustainable way to make pieces as they are ordered, so that I do not waste precious resources with unsold garments, so please email me if you see a style you like and it is not available in your size or colour, and I will get it made for you.
