Having trained at Leeds College of Art in Graphics, concentrating on and working in Animation, it was teaching a multitude of different crafts including crochet, macrame, block printing, patchwork, simple jewellery and hand knitting that brought me into the world of machine knitting many years ago.

My work as a Designer/Maker has always had it's own particular look.

Most of my pieces are now being made by me in my Hackney studio with the occasional help of one trusted knitter. 

I proudly use Old Technology in a innovative way, my pieces being individually made on vintage hand-framed knitting machines.
